This link will take you to the U.S. Surgeon General's Family History Initiative, where you will be able to download and install on your computer a free tool called "My Family Health Portrait." This easy to use tool will help you to develop a graphical representation of your family's health history. It can be used to predict illnesses that are common in your family, and it can help you and your health care provider watch for potential hereditary risks – that are specific to your family.
