Career Opportunity
Billing Clerk I, II, III, Fairbanks, AK. Under the general direction and supervision of the Accounting & Billing Supervisor, this position performs patient billing processes, to include, but not limited to, billing and third party payer filings, review of superbill or electronic equivalent, review, and reconciliation of invoices for patient related ancillary services, etc. Certification through American Health Information Management Association or its equivalent is preferred. One year experience in billing and collections required, in a health care setting preferred. Cultural competence in working with diverse populations. Experience in Finance may substitute for billing and collections experience. Full Time Position. 8:30am-5:30 pm. Mon-Friday.
Patient Registration, Fairbanks, AK. Under the general direction and supervision of the Front Office Supervisor, this position performs registration duties to include, but not limited to, patient check-in and check-out, payment posting and on site collections. Full Time Position. 8:30am-5:30 pm. Mon-Friday.
Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Aide, Fairbanks, AK. Under the direction and supervision of the LPN Supervisor and qualifications of licensure/certification may perform triage of established patients, prepare patients for clinical encounters, provide patient education, and follow-up for purposes of care coordination. Prefer at least one year experience in health care setting. Current BLS Certification. Cultural competence in working with diverse populations required. Full Time Position. 8:30am-5:30 pm and 10:00am-7:00pm. Mon-Friday.
Dental Assistant, I, II or III, Fairbanks, AK. Under the general direction and supervision of the Dental Supervisor, this person prepares patient for dental examination. Assists in providing patient care, within the appropriate scope of practice, to an ethnically diverse patient population. Graduation from an accredited school in dental assisting preferred; one year experience as a dental assistant preferred. Cultural competence in working with diverse populations required. Full Time Position. 8:30am-5:30 pm. Mon-Friday.
