Kimberly Douglas, MD

On Patients

"Optimum patient care is built upon mutual trust-based relationships between patient and provider. It is important to partner with the patient to offer treatment plans that are affordable, easy to follow, and compliance promoting. At the same time, there are limits to medicine, and some of the burden for health and wellness lies in everyday personal choices. Patients are wonderful teachers; I learn something valuable from each one."

On Interior Community Health Center

"All persons deserve primary health care with a continuity provider at an established medical home. It makes sense that patients will get the highest quality care if their provider knows them well. ICHC serves an important role in our community. Affordable access to care should be available to all and is our mission."
